                                                  THE QUESTION

On a recent airplane ride my ear became the size of an elephants' listening to the conversation in the seat in front of me.  A young woman(yw) a senior in high school at the window seat, in the middle a young man (ym) from his conversation a college student and in the isle seat a middle aged woman(mw).

Of course, the young woman caught the young man's eye and thus the converstion ensued.  He started with his usual "hi, do you live in Orlando?" (this is where I was flying to)"yes she said with a huge smile" (I could see her face, as well as the middle aged woman from my seat), "but I was visiting AZ" the yw replied "Oh! where in Orlando do you live" yw proceeded to tell ym where, to which he said "I know where that is at."
I do not know at what point the conversation turned to religion, but this is where my ears grew.
Ym asked yw "what is the difference between Baptists and Episcopalians?" yw evaded the question and mumbled something and told ym "I am mormom" "Oh" said ym then ym said "you know in the Bible a woman is asking to whom would she be married to when she goes to heaven as she had several husbands" yw pondered the question and said "I've heard that story, but in my church we have covenants where you are married for eternity" then she got rescued by the mw who said "my father lives in Utah and the mormoms have done so much for him, I don't know what he would have done if they weren't there" .  Yw answered "yes we HAVE to give 10% and we have supplies and food...."
[I want to interject here how aware I am of this concept the mormon church is very well organized, they have farms with cattle, chickens, they produce their own food.  They have processing plants here in the US as well as in several countries overseas.  If any one person from their congregation is without a job or the means to purchase clothing and other necessities they have a store where the leader of that congregation will sign a voucher for them to get free food, diapers, etc at their own runned grocery store. In return that person volunteers where they are needed.]
At this point the ym was bombarded about momonism from both sides, was told about the mission trips...yw "my brother is currently in Thailand...you have to fill the paperwork and young women do not go on mission trips like the guys, but they can" and on and on.
Of course I so badly wanted to put my 5 cents worth, but restrained, I started praying instead I did not have a particular request, but did want this ym to know the truth. SO, I pulled out my business card and wrote on the back for the truth email me, and gave it to the ym.  I will let the Lord do the rest.
If he wants to email me great, if not I ask for the Lord to send laborers around this ym to reveal to him that which he is searching, to fill him up with God's visions and dreams.  His original question never got answered.
